Choose your situation

Built for the moments when cloud transfer feels like the long way around

Use LocalChat when the devices are already nearby and the fastest path is the local network in front of you.

Phone to computer handoff

Move photos, videos, screenshots, notes, and documents between your own phone, Mac, PC, and tablet.

Creator and studio files

Send footage, design files, project folders, and exports directly without cloud upload or chat-app compression.

Meeting and office sharing

Share decks, PDFs, screenshots, links, and quick notes with nearby coworkers on the same network.

Temporary local groups

Exchange handouts, lab data, exhibition materials, site photos, or field documents in classrooms and hotspots.

Weak internet, local network still works

Keep transferring over hotel Wi-Fi, a phone hotspot, office intranet, or field LAN when external upload is slow or unavailable.

Data moves between your devices without passing through a cloud server.

Use LAN speed for large files, folders, screenshots, and quick handoffs.

Transfer feels slow?

Turn off VPN, guest networks, or client isolation, and keep devices on the same router.

Need cross-platform transfer?

Open LocalChat on both devices, then connect by nearby devices, QR code, or manual address.
