Local-first by default.

Normal LAN chats, files, and voice/video calls move between the devices you choose. LocalChat does not require an internet account and does not upload normal LAN transfer content to a cloud relay.

Check local network access, permissions, VPN, guest Wi-Fi, and device trust when chat, files, voice/video calls, or games do not connect.

Sending big folders?

Keep devices on the same router or hotspot and avoid guest networks, router isolation, or restricted intranet rules.

Need cross-platform setup?

Open LocalChat on both devices, then connect by nearby discovery, QR code, connection code, or manual address.
